1. General Care
Keeping your TTRacing chair in tip-top shape is easy. Just follow these simple tips so that your chair can look great and stay comfortable for many years to come.
Follow usage instructions
Our chairs are made only for sitting or relaxing. Any improper usage such as standing or jumping can damage the chair, or worse, cause injury to yourself. Make sure you use your TTRacing chair safely.
Keep it clean
Sweat or dirt can damage the chair’s PU leather coating. Plus, no one likes sitting on a dirty or sweaty chair. Always clean the chair’s fabric with a slightly damp cloth after use.
Don’t sit naked
Body oil and friction with the skin can degrade the PU leather coating over time. So, avoid sitting with your bare skin exposed.
Avoid contact with moisture
Moisture of any kind can be harmful to the chair’s PU leather coating. Immediately wipe off any spills and don’t sit on the chair while your body and clothes are wet.
Don’t abuse it
While we at TTRacing design our chairs to be as durable as possible, this doesn’t mean you should abuse it. Avoid dropping or hitting the chair and keep sharp objects away from your chair.
Avoid high heat
Avoid exposing the chair to high heat such as hair dryers or direct sunlight as they can damage the PU leather coating. High heat can also affect its shine or colour.
Keep pets away
We cannot guarantee that the PU leather coating is claw or bite-proof. So, be cautious when your pets are around.
2. Safety Instructions
As we’ve already mentioned, improper usage of the gaming chair can damage the chair or even cause injury to you yourself. Therefore, we advise following these safety tips so that you can enjoy your sitting experience.
Sit in the center of the chair with your back against the backrest.
Do not sit on the chair’s front edge.
Do not stand on the chair seat.
Do not use the chair with two or more people
Do not push the chair when someone is sitting on it.
Do not push down on the backrest when someone is reclining.
Do not place all your weight on the backrest only.
Do not place your hand or fingers near the recline mechanism.
3. Upholstery Care
In most cases, TTRacing chairs can be cleaned and maintained with a wet cloth. However, you should also take additional care so that your chair remains in good condition.
PU Leather
TTRacing chairs made of PU leather are stain-resistant and easy to clean. Simply wipe clean the leather upholstery with a slightly damp microfiber towel. After cleaning, leave the chair to air dry before using it again.
Air Threads Fabric
For TTRacing chairs made of Air Threads Fabric, use a dry paper towel or cloth to absorb spills. Vacuum up any loose particles such as dust or dirt. For stubborn stains, spray a small amount of fabric cleaner onto a clean microfiber cloth and gently wipe clean. DO NOT rub on the fabric as it can cause more staining.
4. Functional Parts
In most cases, TTRacing chairs can be cleaned and maintained with a wet cloth. However, you should also take additional care so that your chair remains in good condition.
